How do you get certified?
Reporting
After completing the registration, you will receive login details for an online platform. On this platform you can enter how your company scores per criterion. You add photos and/or documents as evidence.
Assessment
The information you provide will be assessed by a team of experts from our international partner Green Destinations. You will receive feedback on possible initial areas for improvement and make any additions.
Audit
If the assessment shows that your company complies with 70% or more of the criteria, we will contact your company for an audit. This can be done on-site or via a video call.
Certification
Your level of compliance will be confirmed by the Green Destination Certification Committee. If the result is sufficient, you will be awarded with the certification. You will receive a list of recommendations, a seal, a certificate, and a scorecard.
